How-to Guide

Feature entry: Insert tab → Hyperlink button (shortcut: Ctrl+K)

  1. Select the object or text that you want to link.
  2. Click the Insert tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click Hyperlink.
  4. Enter the URL in the Existing File or Web Page tab.
  5. Click OK to finish.
  • Interface result: the selected text or object is linked to a web page.
  • What you can do next: you can open the target web page from the object during editing or slideshow playback.
  • Common mistake: if you do not select text or an object first, the link may not be created as expected.
  • Environment note: opening a web target requires a network connection.

  1. Select the object or text that you want to link.
  2. Open the Hyperlink dialog box.
  3. Choose the file that you want to link to.
  4. Browse for and select the target document.
  5. Click OK.

  • Common mistake: if the target file path changes later, the original link may stop working.
