1. Insert Header and Footer
Feature entry: Insert tab → Header & Footer
- Click the Insert tab on the top menu bar.
- Click the Header & Footer button.
- In the dialog box, set the options you need:
- Date and Time: choose a fixed date or automatic update.
- Slide Number: show the slide number.
- Footer: enter footer text.
- Don’t show on title slide: exclude the title slide.
- Click Apply or Apply to All.

Feature entry: Header & Footer dialog box → Notes and Handouts
- Open the Header & Footer dialog box.
- Select the Notes and Handouts tab.

- Click Apply or Apply to All.
