1. Switch to Notes Page view

Feature entry: View → Notes Page

  1. Open the presentation you want to edit.
  2. Click the View tab at the top.
  3. Find and click Notes Page.
  4. Review the current slide and its notes area in Notes Page view.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The current page switches to the Notes Page layout view.
  • Next action available: You can click the notes area and continue entering or editing content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no presentation is open first, you cannot enter the notes editing workflow for a slide.

2. Edit notes content

Feature entry: Notes area in Notes Page view

  1. Switch to Notes Page view first.
  2. Click the notes text area on the page.
  3. Enter or revise the note text.
  4. Move to another slide and check whether the notes have been kept.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The notes area shows the new or updated text.
  • Next action available: You can continue switching slides and editing notes.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you click the slide content area instead of the notes area, you may not edit the notes text directly.

3. Add notes in Normal view

Feature entry: Notes area at the bottom of Normal view

  1. Keep the presentation in Normal view.
  2. Find the notes area at the bottom of the window.
  3. Click Click to add notes.
  4. Enter the notes you want to record.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The bottom notes area shows the text you entered.
  • Next action available: You can switch to Notes Page view and review the same slide notes there.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the bottom notes area is collapsed, adjust the interface layout first and then enter notes.

4. Print Notes Page

Feature entry: File → Print

  1. Finish editing notes for each slide.
  2. Click File and open the print interface.
  3. Select Notes Page in the print layout or print style options.
  4. Preview the output and then print.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Print preview shows a page layout with notes.
  • Next action available: You can still adjust the printer, page range, or other print settings before output.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If Notes Page is not selected, the print result may include only the slide pages.
  • Environment limit: You need an available printer or an environment that supports print output.
