Why can’t I find the Solid Fill option?

  1. Make sure you are working in a WPS Presentation file instead of a Writer or Spreadsheet file.
  2. Select any slide, then click the Background button on the Design tab.
  3. If you still do not see it, right-click a slide thumbnail or a blank area in the editing canvas and select Format Background.

How do I change the background for only one slide?

  1. Select the target slide in the left thumbnail pane.
  2. Open Format Background from the Design tab or a shortcut menu.
  3. Select Solid Fill and set the color, but do not click Apply to All.

How do I apply the same background to every slide?

  1. Finish setting the solid background color and transparency for the current slide.
  2. Click Apply to All at the bottom of the Object Properties panel.
  3. Switch to other slides and confirm that the background has been updated consistently.
