1. Apply a Background Picture
Entry: Design tab → Background drop-down button
- Select the slide where you want to set the background.
- Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
- Click Background.
- Select the category you want in the tab area.
- Hover over a background picture to preview the effect.
- Select the picture you want and apply it.
- If you want more resources, click More Images at the bottom of the background picture area to expand the gallery.

2. Replace the Background Picture from the Thumbnail Pane
Entry: Right-click the slide thumbnail on the left → Change Background Picture
- In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, right-click the slide whose background you want to replace.
- Select Change Background Picture.
- In the dialog box, choose a new local image file.
- Click Open to finish the replacement.

- Interface result: The target slide background is updated to the selected local image.
