1. Apply a Background Picture

Entry: Design tab → Background drop-down button

  1. Select the slide where you want to set the background.
  2. Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
  3. Click Background.
  4. Select the category you want in the tab area.
  5. Hover over a background picture to preview the effect.
  6. Select the picture you want and apply it.
  7. If you want more resources, click More Images at the bottom of the background picture area to expand the gallery.

  • Interface result: The selected slide shows the new background picture effect.

2. Replace the Background Picture from the Thumbnail Pane

Entry: Right-click the slide thumbnail on the left → Change Background Picture

  1. In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, right-click the slide whose background you want to replace.
  2. Select Change Background Picture.
  3. In the dialog box, choose a new local image file.
  4. Click Open to finish the replacement.
