WPS Background Gradient Fill on Windows FAQ

Last updated:July 15, 2026

When using Background Gradient Fill, users commonly ask about member-only presets, parameter adjustments, and applying one background to a full deck; this section answers 3 common questions.

FAQ

Why can’t I use some preset gradient colors directly?

  1. Check whether the selected preset fill color has a membership mark next to it.
  2. If it does, you need WPS membership before you can use that preset.
  3. If you do not need a member-only preset, choose another available gradient style or open More Fill Colors to set the parameters manually.

How do I apply the same gradient background to all slides?

  1. Open the Background settings from the Design tab.
  2. In the Object Properties panel on the right, finish setting the gradient style and color stop parameters.
  3. Click Apply to All at the bottom to use the same background across the full presentation.

How to make a gradient background more visible in WPS on Windows?

  1. Check whether the difference between the color stop colors is too small.
  2. Adjust the angle, position, transparency, or brightness again to make the gradient more noticeable.
  3. Switch between the current slide and other slides to review the result, then fine-tune the settings if needed.
