FAQ

The image looks distorted after I change the width. What should I do?

  1. Select the image and open the Size and Position or Object Properties pane.
  2. Check whether Lock aspect ratio is enabled.
  3. Turn it on, then enter the width again so the height updates proportionally.

Can I set exact width and height at the same time?

  1. Open the Size and Properties area after selecting the image.
  2. Enter values for Width and Height.
  3. If one value changes automatically, check whether Lock aspect ratio is enabled.

Why can’t I see the Picture Tools tab?

  1. Make sure you selected an image rather than a text box or blank area.
  2. Click the image again and check whether the Picture Tools tab appears at the top of the window.
  3. If it still does not appear, try inserting the image again and then repeat the steps.

How do I restore the original image size after several edits?

  1. Open the Size and Position or Object Properties area.
  2. Find the Reset option.
  3. Click it to restore the original size, then adjust width again if needed.
