FAQ
The image looks distorted after I change the width. What should I do?
- Select the image and open the Size and Position or Object Properties pane.
- Check whether Lock aspect ratio is enabled.
- Turn it on, then enter the width again so the height updates proportionally.
Can I set exact width and height at the same time?
- Open the Size and Properties area after selecting the image.
- Enter values for Width and Height.
- If one value changes automatically, check whether Lock aspect ratio is enabled.
Why can’t I see the Picture Tools tab?
- Make sure you selected an image rather than a text box or blank area.
- Click the image again and check whether the Picture Tools tab appears at the top of the window.
- If it still does not appear, try inserting the image again and then repeat the steps.
How do I restore the original image size after several edits?
- Open the Size and Position or Object Properties area.
- Find the Reset option.
- Click it to restore the original size, then adjust width again if needed.
