  1. Select the picture and open the Size and Position or Size and Properties settings area.
  2. Check whether Lock aspect ratio is enabled.
  3. Turn it on, then enter the height value again and see whether the width updates proportionally.

How do I restore the original picture height?

  1. Select the picture.
  2. Open the Size and Position pane or the Size and Properties panel.
  3. Click Reset to restore the original picture size.

How do I set a picture to an exact height?

  1. Select the picture.
  2. Enter the target value directly in the Height box under Picture Tools.
  3. Press Enter and review the result on the slide.

Why can’t I find the picture height controls?

  1. Make sure you selected a picture object instead of a text box or another element.
