How-to Guide

Entry point: Design tab → drop-down button on the right side of the theme gallery

  1. Open the presentation you want to edit.
  2. Click the Design tab at the top.
  3. Click the drop-down button on the right side of the theme gallery.
  4. Browse the available theme list.
  • UI state: A theme list or theme panel is displayed.
  • Next actions: You can continue by selecting a theme to apply.
  • Common mistakes: If you are not in the presentation editing view, you may not see entries under the Design tab.
  • Environment limits: If some themes need to load online, keep your internet connection available.

3. View more themes

Entry point: Design tab → More Themes

  1. Click the Design tab at the top.
  2. Click More Themes.
  3. Open the theme library and browse different themes.
  4. Click the theme you want to apply.

  • UI state: The theme library page or panel opens successfully.
  • Next actions: You can continue choosing from a broader set of themes and apply one.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: It is easy to confuse More Themes with the current featured theme list and repeat the same search.

4. Switch themes from the sidebar

Entry point: Right task pane → Change Theme button

  1. Look at the right sidebar in the presentation editing view.
  2. Click the Change Theme button.
  3. Browse the available theme options in the panel that opens.
  4. Click the target theme to apply it.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The theme panel opens on the right and shows multiple theme options.
  • Next actions: You can switch themes directly and continue editing the current presentation.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the right sidebar is collapsed, it may look like the Change Theme entry is missing.
