About This Feature

Overview

Traditional-Simplified Conversion is a text-processing feature in WPS Office for Mac Sheets that lets you convert selected cell content from Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese, or from Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese. It is useful for cross-region spreadsheet collaboration, terminology consistency, and content review.

Core capabilities include:

  • running Simplified to Traditional or Traditional to Simplified directly from the Review tab;
  • converting a selected cell range in batches after you choose the target area;
  • choosing conversion by word or by character for Chinese text.

This feature works on Chinese text content. Numbers, English text, and special symbols are generally not changed. If you need to restore the original content after conversion, you can use Undo right away.
