1. Convert Traditional and Simplified Chinese from the Review tab

Entry point: ReviewSimplified to Traditional / Traditional to Simplified

  1. Open the WPS spreadsheet file that you want to edit, then select the cell range that you want to convert. If you want to process the whole worksheet, press Cmd+A to select all.
  2. Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
  3. Click Simplified to Traditional to convert Simplified Chinese into Traditional Chinese, or click Traditional to Simplified to convert Traditional Chinese into Simplified Chinese.
  4. Choose conversion by word or by character based on your content.
  5. Review the result. If you want to restore the original content, press Cmd+Z to undo.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: Chinese text in the selected range has been converted in the direction you chose.
  • Next actions: You can continue editing, saving, or exporting the current spreadsheet.
  • No side effects: Numbers, English text, and special symbols stay unchanged.
