1. Run Spell Check from the Menu Bar (Manual Check)
Feature entry: Review → Spell Check
- Select the cell range that you want to check. If you want to check the whole sheet, you can leave the range unselected.
- Click Spell Check on the Review tab.
- Wait while the program scans the selected range or the whole sheet.
- When a possible spelling issue appears, review the suggested result in the prompt window.
- Choose Change, Ignore, or Add to Dictionary as needed.

- Interface result: A spell check prompt window appears and shows possible issues one by one.
- Next action available: You can change, ignore, or add the current item to the dictionary.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not select a target range first, the check may run across the whole sheet.

2. Manage the Custom Dictionary and Check Language
Feature entry: File → Options → Spell Check → Custom Dictionary
- Click the File menu in the upper-left corner.
- Click Options in the drop-down menu.
- Select Spell Check in the left panel.
- Open the Custom Dictionary settings.
- Use options such as modify, new, or add to adjust dictionary content as needed.
