- Path 1: Tools → Review → Protect Worksheet
- Path 2: Tap the worksheet name → Floating menu → Protect
- Open WPS Spreadsheet and go to the workbook you want to protect.
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen, then open the Review tab.
- Tap Protect Worksheet.
- Turn on Enable Protect.
- Add a password if needed, then confirm it.
- Tap Done.
- Return to the editing page and check whether a lock icon appears before the worksheet name.

2. Remove Protect Worksheet
Entry path:
- Path 1: Tools → Review → Remove Protect Worksheet
- Path 2: Tap the worksheet name → Floating menu → Remove Protection
- In the workbook, switch to the protected worksheet.
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen, then open the Review tab.
- Tap Remove Protect Worksheet.
- If prompted, enter the password.
- Return to the editing page and check whether the lock icon before the worksheet name has disappeared.
