Why can’t I find the Protect Worksheet option?

  1. Make sure you opened the file in WPS Spreadsheet instead of a read-only preview state.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen and open the Review tab to look for Protect Worksheet.
  3. You can also tap the worksheet name at the top and check whether the floating menu shows Protect.

How do I know whether a worksheet is already protected?

  1. Return to the editing page after you finish the setup.
  2. Check whether a lock icon appears before the worksheet name at the top of the page.
  3. If the icon is visible, the current worksheet is protected.

What should I do if I forget the protection password?

  1. Check whether you saved the password when you created it.
  2. To remove protection later, you need the correct password to continue.
