Why is the Track Referenced Cells command grayed out or unavailable?
- Check whether the selected cell contains a formula.
- If you selected a regular data cell, switch to a formula cell and try again.
- Click Track Referenced Cells on the Formulas tab again.
What should I do if there are too many arrows to read clearly?
- Click the Remove Arrows drop-down command on the Formulas tab.
- Select Remove All Arrows to clear the current tracing marks.
- Return to the target formula cell and trace only the level you need.
How do I return after jumping to another worksheet from a dashed arrow?
- Confirm that you moved by using a black dashed arrow.
- Use the back button at the top-left area of the window to return to the previous location.
- If supported in your current workflow, you can also try Undo to go back.
