Why did the green triangle marker disappear?

  1. Click the File menu.
  2. Select Spreadsheet Preferences.
  3. Open the Error Checking tab.
  4. Confirm that the background error checking option is enabled.
  5. Return to the worksheet and check whether the green triangle marker appears again.

Do all detected errors need to be fixed?

  1. Review the specific reason shown in the error prompt.
  2. Decide whether the issue affects your actual result, such as numbers stored as text.
  3. If it does not affect your work, you can leave it as is based on your needs.
