When using WPS Attachments, common questions usually involve membership access, opening attached files, and PDF size changes; this FAQ covers 4 common questions and a glossary.
FAQ
Why is the Attachment button unavailable?
- Make sure the file you opened is a PDF rather than another document type.
- Check whether you are signed in with a WPS account that has the required benefits.
- Confirm that your current environment supports PDF editing, then reopen the file and check the related entry again.
What file types can I attach?
- You can attach common document files, images, compressed folders, audio files, video files, and other local files.
- After you select the file, it is embedded into the PDF.
- If the file cannot be opened later, check whether your computer has a compatible app for that file type.
Why does the PDF file become larger after I add an attachment?
- The attached file is stored as embedded content inside the PDF.
- Larger attached files usually make the saved PDF larger as well.
- To control file size, attach only the files you need or compress the file before inserting it.
How can I view all attachments that were already added to the document?
- You can first look for attachment icons on the page and open them one by one.
- In some interfaces, you may also be able to view an attachment list from the left sidebar.
- If you do not see a list entry, use the attachment icons on the page first.
