How-to Guide
1. Open Version History
Entry path: More → Version History
- Open the PDF file.
- Tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Select Version History from the list.
- Review the history versions shown for the current document.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Version History list opens.
- Next action available: You can choose a version to rename, preview, restore, or delete.
Tips While Using
- Environment note: The file must be uploaded to cloud storage and used as a cloud document.
- Network note: If the history list does not load, check your internet connection first.
2. Rename a History Version
Entry path: More → Version History → ... → Rename
- Tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Version History.
- Find the version you want to rename in the history list.
- Tap ...
- Tap Rename.
- Enter a name and tap Confirm to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected history version shows the new name.
- Next action available: You can continue to preview, restore, or manage that version.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Make sure you select the correct version before renaming it, especially when several versions were saved close together.
3. Preview a History Version
Entry path: More → Version History → ... → Preview
- Tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Version History.
- Find the version you want to preview in the history list.
- Tap ...
- Tap Preview to open that version.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected history version opens for review.
- Next action available: After checking the content, you can return to the list and continue managing versions.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Preview the version before restoring it so you do not roll back to the wrong content.
4. Restore a History Version
Entry path: More → Version History → ... → Restore This Version
- Tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Version History.
- Find the version you want to restore in the history list.
- Tap ...
- Tap Restore This Version to switch the file back to that version.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The current file content changes to the selected history version.
- Next action available: You can continue viewing or editing the restored document.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Check the version content before restoring it so you do not overwrite your current progress unexpectedly.
5. Delete a History Version
Entry path: More → Version History → ... → Delete Version
- Tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Version History.
- Find the version you want to delete in the history list.
- Tap ...
- Tap Delete Version to remove it.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected version no longer appears in the Version History list.
- Next action available: You can continue managing the remaining history versions.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Confirm that the version is no longer needed before deleting it.
