FAQ
What should I do if I see a message that the file is in use when saving?
- Check whether the PDF is open in another program.
- Close any reader, sync tool, or editor that may be using the file.
- Return to WPS PDF and try saving again.
- If saving still fails, use Save As and save to a new file name or location.
How do I save a PDF as an image file?
- Open the PDF file.
- Go to File > Save As.
- In Save as type, choose an image format such as PNG or JPG.
- Choose a save location and click Save.
Where can I find the file after saving?
- If this is the first save, check the selected path in the Save As dialog.
- If you used direct save later, the file usually stays in the original file location.
- If you want a different folder, use Save As and choose a new path manually.
Why does the Save As dialog appear the first time I save?
- The first save needs a file name and storage location.
- After that first save is complete, later changes can be written back to that file directly.
- If you do not want to overwrite the original file, keep using Save As to create a separate copy.
