FAQ

What should I do if I see a message that the file is in use when saving?

  1. Check whether the PDF is open in another program.
  2. Close any reader, sync tool, or editor that may be using the file.
  3. Return to WPS PDF and try saving again.
  4. If saving still fails, use Save As and save to a new file name or location.

How do I save a PDF as an image file?

  1. Open the PDF file.
  2. Go to File > Save As.
  3. In Save as type, choose an image format such as PNG or JPG.
  4. Choose a save location and click Save.

Where can I find the file after saving?

  1. If this is the first save, check the selected path in the Save As dialog.
  2. If you used direct save later, the file usually stays in the original file location.
  3. If you want a different folder, use Save As and choose a new path manually.

Why does the Save As dialog appear the first time I save?

  1. The first save needs a file name and storage location.
  2. After that first save is complete, later changes can be written back to that file directly.
  3. If you do not want to overwrite the original file, keep using Save As to create a separate copy.
