How-to Guide

1. Replace an Image

Entry path: Image Editing tab → Replace Image button

  1. Open the PDF file that you want to edit.
  2. Click the image that you want to replace to select it.
  3. Click the Image Editing tab on the top menu bar.
  4. Click Replace Image.
  5. In the file selection dialog box, choose the new image.
  6. Click Open to complete the replacement.
  7. Check whether the new image has replaced the original one in the same position and size.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The original image is replaced with the new image.
  • What you can do next: You can continue moving or resizing the image.
  • No unwanted result: The page layout does not change noticeably because of reinserting the image.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the image is not selected first, Replace Image may be unavailable.
  • Membership note: This feature requires membership to edit PDF files.

2. Adjust the Replaced Image

Entry path: Click the replaced image

  1. After replacing the image, keep it selected.
  2. Drag the image to adjust its position.
  3. Drag the resize handles to change its size.
  4. Click a blank area in the document to confirm the current result.
