How-to Guide

1. Run OCR Recognition

Entry: Edit tab → OCR PDF button

  1. Click the Edit tab on the top menu bar.
  2. Click the OCR PDF button on the toolbar.
  3. In the dialog box, choose a recognition range: All Pages, Current Page, or Custom Pages.
  4. Select the recognition language.
  5. Click Start Recognition.
  6. Wait for the process to finish so the text becomes editable.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: after recognition is complete, the original scanned text can be selected or enters an editable state.
  • Next action available: you can continue modifying the recognized text.

Tips While Using

  • Permissions or membership: this topic requires membership to edit PDF files.
  • Common mistake: if the selected language does not match the document language, the OCR PDF result may need more manual correction.
  • Environment note: documents with more pages may take longer to process.

2. Edit Recognized Text

Entry: Edit tab → Edit Content button

  1. After OCR recognition is complete, click Edit Content.
  2. Click the text area you want to edit.
  3. Modify the text directly.

  • Interface result: the selected text area enters an editable state.
  • Next action available: the updated content can be saved or adjusted further.
