What should I do if the font color button is gray?

  1. Make sure the current file is already in Text Edit mode.
  2. Reselect the text you want to modify.
  3. Check whether the PDF supports text editing. If it is a scanned PDF, run OCR first.
  4. Confirm that your account has the required PDF editing membership benefits.

How do I restore the default text color?

  1. Select the text whose color was changed.
  2. Click the font color button to open the color picker.
  3. Choose Automatic.
  4. Confirm that the text returns to its default black display.

What is the Eyedropper used for?

  1. Select the text you want to recolor.
  2. Open the font color picker and choose the Eyedropper.
  3. Click the target color in the document or on the screen.
  4. Apply the sampled color to the selected text so colors stay consistent.
