How-to Guide

1. Convert to Scanned PDF

Entry: Convert tab → Convert to Scanned PDF

  1. Open the PDF file that you want to convert.
  2. Click the Convert tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click Convert to Scanned PDF.
  4. Set the conversion options in the dialog box.
  5. Click Start Conversion.
  6. Wait for the process to finish and check the output file.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The conversion finishes without an interruption message.
  • What you can do next: You can find the new scanned-style PDF in the selected output folder.
  • No side effect: The original PDF file remains unchanged.

Tips While Using

  • Membership: This feature requires PDF editing access with membership.
  • File management: Confirm the output folder in advance so the result is easy to find.

2. Set Output Options

Entry: Convert tab → Convert to Scanned PDF → Settings panel

  1. Click Convert to Scanned PDF to open the settings panel.
  2. In Output Color, choose a color or black-and-white scanned effect.
  3. In Output Directory, choose where to save the file.
  4. Confirm the settings and click Start Conversion.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The settings can be selected normally and applied to the current conversion task.
  • What you can do next: After conversion, the output file is saved in the selected folder.
  • No side effect: The original PDF file is not overwritten.

Tips While Using

  • Membership: This task is related to membership PDF editing access.
  • Output style: Black-and-white output is closer to a common paper-scan look, while color output keeps more of the original page color information.
