What is the difference between Area Highlight and text highlight?

  1. Area Highlight is used for any region on a page, including charts, signature blocks, scanned content, or content near non-selectable text.
  2. Text highlight usually requires you to select text first and then apply highlighting to the text itself.
  3. If you need to mark a page region instead of selectable text, use Area Highlight.

How do I delete all highlights in bulk?

  1. Open the PDF and go to the annotation management area.
  2. View the highlights in the Comment Management panel.
  3. Select the highlights that you want to remove and run the bulk delete action.

Can I customize the highlight color?

  1. Click Area Highlight to open the color picker.
  2. Select Other Colors to open the custom color dialog.
  3. If you want to sample a color from the screen, use Eyedropper.
