How-to Guide

1. Set Alignment from the Toolbar

Entry path: Text Edit tab → Alignment button group

  1. Enter text editing mode and select the text that you want to align.
  2. Find the alignment button group on the toolbar. It is to the right of the line spacing and character spacing settings.
  3. Click the alignment option you need: Align Left, Center, Align Right, or Justify.
  4. Check the paragraph layout immediately after applying the setting.
  5. If needed, use keyboard shortcuts for faster switching: Ctrl+L, Ctrl+E, Ctrl+R, and Ctrl+J.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the selected paragraph shows the new alignment immediately.
  • Next action available: you can continue editing text or save the PDF file.

Tips While Using

  • Enter Text Edit mode and select text first, or the alignment buttons may be unavailable.

  • Justify is usually more suitable for body paragraphs, while headings often work better with Align Left or Center.

2. Set Alignment from the Right-Click Menu

Entry path: Select text → right-click menu → Alignment

  1. Select the text that you want to align.
  2. Right-click the selected text.
  3. In the menu that appears, choose the Alignment submenu.
  4. Select the alignment option you want and apply it to the current paragraph.
  5. Check the paragraph display to confirm that it matches the layout you need.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the alignment setting from the context menu is applied to the selected paragraph.
  • Next action available: you can continue adjusting other paragraphs from the context menu or toolbar.

  • If the menu does not show the expected option, confirm that the selected content is editable text.
