FAQ

What should I do if the alignment buttons are grayed out?

  1. Make sure the file is open in WPS PDF.
  2. Make sure you have entered Text Edit mode.
  3. Select the text you want to adjust, then check whether the alignment buttons are available.
  4. If the buttons are still unavailable, check whether your account has PDF editing membership access.

What is the difference between paragraph alignment and moving a text box?

  1. Paragraph alignment changes how text is distributed within the current layout area.
  2. Moving a text box changes the position of an object on the page.
  3. If you want text to be left-aligned, centered, right-aligned, or justified, use the alignment feature.
  4. If you want to move an object, use the relevant object or layout tools instead.

How can I quickly apply the same alignment to multiple paragraphs?

  1. In Text Edit mode, select the multiple paragraphs that need the same formatting.
  2. Use the alignment buttons on the toolbar, or open Alignment from the right-click menu.
  3. Choose the target alignment and check whether all selected paragraphs update together.
  4. Save the file so the current layout changes are preserved.
