Why is the Add Bookmark button unavailable?

  1. Make sure the file you opened is a PDF file rather than another document format.
  2. Check whether the current account has WPS membership for PDF editing.
  3. Reopen the file and check the Edit tab again to see whether Add Bookmark is available.

Can I rename a bookmark after adding it?

  1. Find the target bookmark in the left bookmark pane.
  2. Right-click the bookmark to open the shortcut menu.
  3. Select Rename and enter a clearer name.

Can I delete bookmarks or change their order?

  1. Right-click the target bookmark in the left bookmark pane.
  2. Select Delete to remove it.
  3. Select Move Up or Move Down to adjust its order in the list.

What is the practical use of bookmarks?

  1. Bookmarks help you return to important pages or your last reading position more quickly.
  2. In long PDFs, bookmarks can be organized by chapter to reduce repeated scrolling.
