Does Select & Translate require an internet connection?

  1. Check whether your iPhone or iPad is connected to a working network.
  2. Reopen the document and select the text again.
  3. Tap Translate and check whether the result loads normally.
  4. If it still does not work, switch networks and try again.

Why don’t I see the Translate button after selecting text?

  1. Make sure the current file is a document where text can be selected.
  2. Press and hold again, then select the word, phrase, or sentence accurately.
  3. Wait for the floating toolbar to appear, then check whether Translate is available.
  4. If the interface does not refresh, close the document and open it again.

Will the translation result be written directly into the original document?

  1. Select & Translate shows the result in a pop-up or translation view by default.
  2. After reviewing the result, you can return to the original document.
  3. Viewing the translation does not directly rewrite the original document content.
