How-to Guide
1. Share partial pages from a document
Entry path: Document → Share → Partial Page
- Open the WPS Writer document you want to share.
- Tap Share on the top menu bar of the document.
- Select Partial Page.
- Set the page range you want to share, such as pages 2 to 5.
- Tap Extract and Send.
- Choose a sharing method and complete the sending process.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The app enters the sharing method selection flow.
- Next action available: You can continue choosing a sharing channel and send the extracted result.
- Sharing result: The recipient can view only the selected pages.
Tips While Using
- Check the start and end page numbers carefully before sending.
- This feature requires WPS Premium.
- Keep your network connection stable when using online sharing methods.
2. Start a partial-page share from the home page
Entry path: WPS home page document Share button → Partial Page
- Find the document you want to share on the WPS home page.
- Tap the Share button next to the document.
- Select Partial Page.
- Choose whether to turn on Send file as cloud document.
- If this option is turned on, the file is uploaded automatically and sent as a cloud document link.
- If this option is turned off, the app sends a local document.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The app generates the share content based on your selected method.
- Next action available: You can copy the link or continue sharing in another way.
- Sharing result: The recipient receives either a cloud document link or local document content.
Tips While Using
- This feature requires WPS Premium.
- If a shared cloud document is deleted from the cloud, the link becomes invalid.
- Sending as a cloud document requires a working network connection and a signed-in account.
