FAQ

Can recipients see the full document after I share only part of the pages?

  1. No. Recipients can view only the selected pages that were shared.
  2. If you want them to see the full content, share the entire document instead.
  3. Before sending, review the page range again to make sure the shared content is correct.

If I edit the original document later, will the shared partial pages update automatically?

  1. No. The shared result does not update automatically.
  2. If you need to send updated content, select the page range again and share it again.
  3. For ongoing collaboration, you can organize the needed content into a new file and then share that file by link.

What is the difference between Share Partial Page and document password protection?

  1. Share Partial Page is used to send only a selected part of a document.
  2. Document password protection is used to restrict access when someone opens the full document.
  3. If your goal is to send only part of the content, use Share Partial Page. If your goal is to protect access to the full file, use password protection.
