When you use Share File on iOS, the most common questions are about file display, choosing a sending method, and opening the file on the recipient side.

FAQ

Why does the recipient see display issues after I use Share as File?

  1. Confirm that the recipient has an app that can open .docx files, such as WPS or another compatible document app.
  2. Check whether the document uses uncommon fonts or special layout settings.
  3. If layout consistency matters more, consider sending a PDF instead or confirm the recipient's viewing environment first.
  1. Choose Share as File if the recipient needs a file that can continue to be edited.
  2. Choose Share as Link if the recipient should open the online version for viewing or collaboration.
  3. Confirm the recipient's preferred format before sending to reduce repeated sharing.

Why can't I see a specific target app when I try to share?

  1. Confirm that the target app is installed on the current iOS device.
  2. Check whether the app is signed in and allowed to receive files.
  3. Open the iOS share sheet again, and update the target app if needed before trying again.
