1. Start Share After Compression from the top document menu

Entry: Top document menu bar Share → Share After Compression

  1. Open the document you want to send.
  2. Tap Share in the top document menu bar.
  3. Select Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now and wait while the file is compressed and saved automatically.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The compression flow opens and shows Compress Now or the next sharing screen.
  • What you can do next: After compression finishes, you can continue to set the package name and choose a sharing destination.

2. Start Share After Compression from the home document list

Entry: WPS home document Share button → Share After Compression

  1. Find the document you want to send on the WPS home screen.
  2. Tap the Share button to the right of the document.
  3. Select Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now and wait while the file is compressed and saved automatically.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The compression-sharing flow opens from the home document list.
  • What you can do next: After compression finishes, you can continue to choose a sharing destination.

3. Rename the compressed package and choose a sharing destination

Entry: Continue on the sharing screen after compression finishes

  1. After compression is complete, review the generated compressed package.
  2. Rename the compressed package if needed.
  3. Tap More.
  4. Choose a sharing destination, such as WPS Collaboration, WeChat, or email, and send the file.
