1. Share after compression from a document page

Entry path: Share in the top menu bar of the document page > Share After Compression

  1. Open the document you want to send.
  2. Tap Share in the top menu bar.
  3. Choose Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now. The file is compressed and saved automatically.
  5. Rename the compressed package if needed.
  6. Tap More and choose a sharing target such as WPS Collaboration, WeChat, or email.

Success Check

  • Interface result: You can reach the sharing target selection screen after compression.
  • Next action: You can rename the package and continue sending it.
  • File result: The document has been compressed and saved automatically.

Notes

  • Membership: This task requires WPS membership.
  • Network: Keep a network connection when you use online sharing targets.
  • File format: The recipient receives a compressed package and needs to unzip it before opening the document.

2. Share after compression from the home document list

Entry path: Share for a document on the WPS home screen > Share After Compression

  1. Find the document on the WPS home screen.
  2. Tap Share next to the document.
  3. Choose Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now. The file is compressed and saved automatically.
  5. Rename the compressed package if needed.
  6. Tap More and choose a sharing target such as WPS Collaboration, WeChat, or email.
