How to Use

1. Save a document

Entry: top menu bar → Save

  1. Create a new document or edit an existing document.
  2. Tap Save on the top menu bar.
  3. The document is saved to the selected location.
  4. If this is the first time you save a new document, follow the prompts to choose the save path, file name, and file format.

Expected result

  • The current document is saved successfully.
  • You can continue editing, close the file, or save it again later.

Notes

  • The first save may require you to complete the file name, format, and destination.
  • You can save repeatedly while editing to reduce the risk of losing changes.

2. Save a copy to a selected location

Entry: top menu bar → More → Save As

  1. Tap More on the top menu bar.
  2. Find and tap Save As.
  3. Set the file name and choose a file format. Available formats include .DOC, .DOCX, and .TXT.
  4. In the location selection screen, choose to save to the device, cloud documents, or another location.
  5. Tap Save to finish.

Expected result

  • A new saved copy is created in the target location.
  • You can continue editing either the original file or the new copy.
  • The original file is not replaced by the Save As action.

Notes

  • Confirm the file format before saving a copy if you need a specific format for later use.
  • Saving to cloud documents or another cloud service requires a working network connection.

3. Store to Local

Entry: top menu bar → More → Store to Local

  1. Tap More on the top menu bar.
  2. Find and tap Store to Local.
  3. Choose iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or another cloud drive service from the system locations.
  4. Confirm the destination to complete the save.

Expected result

  • The file is written to the selected local or system file location.
  • You can continue viewing, sharing, or moving the file from the system file manager.

Notes

  • Make sure the destination has enough available storage space.
  • If a target cloud drive does not appear, check whether it has been added and authorized in the system first.
