Step-by-Step Guides
1. Export from the Membership menu
Entry path: Open a document → Membership → Export as Image → Original Document to Image
- Open the Writer document you want to convert.
- Click Membership on the top menu bar.
- Open Export as Image.
- Select Original Document to Image.
- In the dialog box, continue with your output mode and settings.
- Click Start Output to export the images.
Success Check
- You see the Export as Image dialog, or the export has completed.
- You can continue setting the format, quality, or save location.
Notes
- If no document is open first, you may not be able to enter the export flow.
- Even when you enter from the Membership menu, the basic export workflow can still be available, while some advanced options are membership-related.
2. Export from the File menu
Entry path: Open a document → File → Export as Image → Original Document to Image
- Open the Writer document you want to convert.
- Click File in the upper-left area.
- Choose Export as Image.
- Click Original Document to Image.
- Set the output mode and related options in the dialog box.
- Click Start Output to finish the export.
Success Check
- The Export as Image settings window opens.
- You can export immediately or adjust settings before exporting.
Notes
- If you stop at the menu level and do not choose Original Document to Image, the full export setup may not open.
3. Choose output mode and settings
Entry path: Export as Image dialog
- Open the Export as Image dialog.
- Choose either Page by Page or Merge into Long Image.
- Set the output format and output quality as needed.
- Adjust related settings if you want to change the export result.
- Click Start Output to generate the image files.
Success Check
- The exported result matches the output mode you selected.
- You can review the saved images and continue sharing or archiving them.
Notes
- A long image can become very large when the document content is long.
- Make sure the save location has enough available disk space before exporting.
4. Batch export multiple files
Entry path: Export as Image dialog → Add Files
- Open the Export as Image dialog.
- In the file list on the left, click Add Files.
- Select the files you want to include and click Open.
- Apply the output mode and settings.
- Click Start Output to export the files together.
Success Check
- Multiple files appear in the list and begin exporting together.
- You can review the output results for each file after the process finishes.
Notes
- This is a membership-related capability.
- If you do not confirm the full file list first, some files may be left out of the batch export.
