How-to Guide
1. Start full-document reading
Entry: Edit mode → Tools → Review → AI Read Aloud, or View → AI Read Aloud
- Open the Writer document you want to listen to.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Find AI Read Aloud under Review or View and tap it.
- Wait for the document to start reading aloud.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The document starts reading automatically and the reading control panel appears.
- What you can do next: You can continue with pause, stop, settings, or voice switching.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the current file is not a Writer document, the entry may not appear.
- Environment note: An internet connection is required.
2. Start reading from the More menu
Entry: Top menu bar More → All Services → AI Read Aloud
- Open the Writer document you want to listen to.
- Tap More on the top menu bar.
- Tap All Services, then select AI Read Aloud.
- Wait for the document to start reading aloud.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The system starts reading the current document content.
- What you can do next: You can continue adjusting playback from the reading control panel.

- Common mistake: If the full service list is not expanded, open All Services first.

3. Control reading settings and switch AI voices
Entry: AI Read Aloud control panel → Play / Pause / Settings / AI Voices
- After reading starts, tap Play to start or resume playback.
- Tap Pause to temporarily stop reading, or tap Stop to end it.
- Tap AI Voices to switch to a different voice or language.
- Tap Settings to adjust the sleep timer and reading speed.
- Use your phone volume buttons or the panel slider to adjust volume.
