How-to Guide

1. Open the Screenshot entry

Entry path: Tools → View → Screenshot

  1. Open the target document that you want to capture.
  2. Tap Tools in the lower-left area of the screen.
  3. Select View in the pop-up menu.
  4. Tap Screenshot to enter capture mode.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The page enters a state where you can select a screenshot area.
  • What you can do next: You can drag the frame to choose the part you want to capture.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no target document is open first, you cannot start a document-based screenshot directly.
  • Environment note: Different zoom levels can affect the final capture area, so adjust the view first if needed.

2. Complete a capture and add pen marks

Entry path: Directly in Screenshot mode

  1. After entering Screenshot mode, drag the frame to select the area you want to keep.
  2. Use the pen tool if you want to add marks.
  3. Check whether the selected area and annotations match what you need.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A preview of the selected screenshot is available, and pen marks are visible if added.
  • What you can do next: You can continue to export, send, or copy the result.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the selected area is too small, important content may be missing.
  • Environment note: Pen marks are suitable for simple annotation. For more complex edits, save the image first and edit it in another image tool.

3. Save, send, or copy the screenshot

Entry path: Screenshot result page → Done

  1. After finishing the capture and annotations, tap Done.
  2. Choose to save locally, send, or copy the screenshot as needed.
  3. Check the destination to confirm that the result was exported successfully.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The screenshot has been saved, sent, or copied successfully.
  • What you can do next: You can continue using the screenshot in Photos, Files, or another target app.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Leaving the page before finishing may cause the current result not to be kept.
  • Environment note: Sending usually depends on the iOS share sheet and available apps.
