What should I do if the ruler is not displayed?

  1. Open a WPS Writer document.
  2. Click the View tab.
  3. Select the Ruler checkbox.
  4. If the ruler still does not appear, confirm that you are in a document view where the ruler can be shown clearly.

How do I change the units on the ruler?

  1. Click File.
  2. Open Options.
  3. Go to settings related to General & Save.
  4. Choose the measurement unit you need, such as centimeters, inches, or millimeters.

Why does the layout change only slightly after I adjust the ruler?

  1. Confirm that you selected the target paragraph or moved to the correct page area.
