1. Set a Graph Paper layout
Feature path: Page tab → Graph Paper
- Open a document in WPS Writer.
- Click Graph Paper on the Page tab.
- In the dialog box, select Use manuscript paper.
- Set the specification, such as 20×20 or 15×20.
- Choose a grid type, such as square-grid manuscript paper or lined manuscript paper.
- Set the grid color, line style, page orientation, and paper size as needed.
- Click OK to apply the settings.

- Interface result: the current document page is displayed in a graph paper style.
- What you can do next: continue typing and review the page layout effect.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if Use manuscript paper is not selected, the other graph paper settings will not take effect.

2. Remove a Graph Paper layout
Feature path: Page tab → Graph Paper
- Open a document that already uses the graph paper layout.
- Click Graph Paper on the Page tab.
- In the settings dialog, clear Use manuscript paper.
- Click OK to save the change.
