Why can’t I find the Document Grid option?
- Open a document in WPS Writer.
- Click the Page tab.
- Click the arrow in the Page Setup area.

What is the difference between Line Grid Only and Line and Character Grid?
- Line Grid Only controls how many lines appear on each page.
- Line and Character Grid controls both the number of lines per page and the number of characters per line.
- If you need stricter page layout control, choose Line and Character Grid.
How do I apply new Document Grid settings to only part of the document?
- Select the text you want to adjust, or place the cursor at the target position.
- Open the Document Grid settings window.
- In the apply scope area, choose Selected Text or This Point Forward.
- Click OK and check whether the target range has updated.
