When using WPS Table Properties on Android, common questions usually involve finding the entry, applying shading correctly, and seeing layout changes; this section covers 3 frequent questions.
FAQ
Why can’t I find the Table Properties entry?
- Make sure you are working in a WPS Writer document and that the document already contains a table.
- Tap inside the table, then try selecting the whole table.
- Check whether Table Properties appears on the floating toolbar.
- If it does not appear, tap Tools, open the Table tab, and look for Table Properties there.
Why does shading change only part of the table?
- Check again whether the whole table is selected.
- Open Table Properties → Shading.
- Review the Apply range and confirm whether it is set to text, paragraph, cell, or the whole table.
- Select the correct target range and tap OK again.
Why is the table position change not obvious after I adjust alignment and wrapping?
- Check whether there is enough surrounding text in the document to make the wrapping effect visible.
- Reopen Table Properties → Alignment and Wrapping.
- Switch between different alignment and wrapping options to compare the result.
- If the page is zoomed out too far, zoom in and review the layout again.
