1. Set line spacing
Entry: Home tab → Paragraph → Line Spacing button
- Select the paragraph you want to adjust.

- In the Paragraph area, click the Line Spacing button.
- Select a preset option such as 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, or 3.0.
- Review the paragraph layout in the document.

2. Set line spacing in the Paragraph dialog box
Entry: Home tab → Paragraph → dialog box launcher
- Select the paragraph you want to adjust.
- Click the Home tab.
- In the Paragraph area, click the dialog box launcher in the lower-right corner.
- In the Indents and Spacing tab, find the line spacing settings.
- Select Single, 1.5 lines, Double, At least, Exactly, or Multiple.
- Enter a value if you need more precise control.
