1. Scan text with the camera

Entry point: Tools > Insert > Scan Text

  1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  2. Select the Insert tab.
  3. Tap Scan Text.
  4. Take a photo of the content you want to recognize, then tap Next.
  5. Select the scan area in the photo, then tap Start Extracting.
  6. Tap Insert into Document to finish the image to text process.
    Tip: You can turn on AI Scan to improve recognition accuracy.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The recognized text is inserted into the current document.
  • Next actions: You can continue editing, copying, or adjusting the inserted text.
