1. Add Text Inside a Shape

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Add Text

  1. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  2. Select the Drawing Tools tab.
  3. Tap Add Text.
  4. Enter the text you want to show inside the shape.

Success Criteria

  • An editable text cursor appears inside the shape, or the text is already visible.
  • You can continue editing the text content afterward.

Tips While Using

  • Insert and select a shape first.
  • Editing is not available in reading mode.

2. Edit Text Inside a Shape

Entry point: Select shape → Floating toolbar → Edit Text

  1. Select the shape in the document.
  2. Tap Edit Text on the floating toolbar.
  3. Change the text inside the shape.

Success Criteria

  • The existing text inside the shape can be modified.
  • The updated text remains inside the current shape.

Tips While Using

  • If the shape is not selected, the related floating toolbar entry will not appear.

3. Rotate a Shape

Entry point: Select shape → Floating toolbar → Rotate

  1. Select the shape you want to adjust.
  2. Tap Rotate on the floating toolbar.
  3. Adjust the shape direction as needed.

Success Criteria

  • The shape direction changes.
  • Other document content stays in place.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm that the correct object is selected before rotating it.

4. Set Text Wrapping

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Wrap

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Wrap area, choose the wrapping type you need, such as In Line with Text, Top and Bottom, Square, Tight, Through, In Front of Text, or Behind Text.

Success Criteria

  • The layout relationship between the text and the shape changes.
  • The selected wrapping style is applied to the current shape immediately.

Tips While Using

  • Different wrapping styles can change the page layout directly, so review the document after you adjust it.

5. Change Shape Border Style

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Border Style

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Border Style area, choose the border style you need.

Success Criteria

  • The border style of the current shape changes.
  • Other unselected shapes are not affected.

Tips While Using

  • The change applies only to the currently selected shape.

6. Adjust Shape Object Order

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Object Order

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Object Order area, choose Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, or Send to Back.

Success Criteria

  • The front-to-back relationship between the shape and other objects changes.
  • The display order on the page matches your expectation.

Tips While Using

  • If there is only one object on the page, the result may not be obvious.

7. Set Shape Horizontal Alignment

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Horizontal Alignment

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Horizontal Alignment area, choose Align Left, Center, or Align Right.

Success Criteria

  • The horizontal position of the shape changes according to the selected option.
  • The alignment result matches the current layout need.

Tips While Using

  • After alignment changes, review the page together with the wrapping setting.

8. Change Shape Border Color

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Border Color

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Border Color area, choose the color you need.

Success Criteria

  • The border color of the current shape updates to the selected color.
  • Other objects in the document keep their original colors.

Tips While Using

  • To change another shape, select that object again first.

9. Change Shape Border Thickness

Entry point: Tools → Drawing Tools → Border Thickness

  1. Select the shape.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom.
  3. Open the Drawing Tools tab.
  4. In the Border Thickness area, choose the line width you need.

Success Criteria

  • The border width of the current shape changes.
