FAQ
Why can’t I see the Drawing Tools entry?
- Make sure you opened a Docs document instead of a preview-only page.
- Confirm that a shape has already been inserted and selected in the document.
- Check whether you are in editing mode, because the full editing entry is not shown in reading mode.
Why can’t I edit the text inside a shape?
- Select the target shape first.
- Tap Edit Text on the floating toolbar, or use Add Text in Drawing Tools.
- If you still cannot type, switch from reading mode to an editable state and try again.
What should I do if the body text moves a lot after I change wrapping?
- Select the shape again and open the Wrap settings.
- Try different options such as In Line with Text, Square, or Top and Bottom.
- After that, review the page layout together with Object Order and Horizontal Alignment.
Why didn’t other shapes change after I updated one border style?
- Border settings in Drawing Tools apply only to the currently selected shape.
- To update another shape, select that object again.
- Repeat the same steps for border style, color, and thickness.
