1. Insert Date and Time
Entry path: Tools → Insert → Date and Time
- Open the Writer document that you want to edit on Android.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Select the Insert tab.
- Tap Date and Time.
- In the dialog, set the language, date format, and whether to enable automatic updating.
- Tap OK to finish the insertion.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the selected date or date-time content appears in the document body.
- Next action available: you can continue editing, save the file, or adjust other content.
Tips While Using
- Common issue: if the document is not in editing mode, the full insertion entry may not appear.
- Platform note: on Android, the current Document Components support is limited to inserting date and time.
