Tips While Using

- After you click Delete, the text can return to its original width state.
- The result appears immediately in the current document.
Tips While Using
- If text already has a width setting, Character Scaling and character spacing changes do not take effect on that text.
- If you plan to scale the same text later, remove the width setting first.
4. Character Scaling
Entry: Home tab → Chinese Layout dropdown → Character Scaling dropdown
- Select the text whose scaling ratio you want to change.
- Click the Home tab.
- Open the Chinese Layout dropdown list.
- Click the Character Scaling dropdown list.
- Select the scaling ratio you want.
Success Criteria
- The selected text is displayed at the chosen ratio.
- The text content itself does not change; only the display ratio changes.
- You can continue saving or editing the document after the setting is applied.
Tips While Using
- If Character Scaling does not work, first check whether the text already has an Adjust Width setting.
- Very large or very small scaling ratios can affect readability, so review the full page layout after applying the change.
