What is the difference between character shading and highlight?

What should I do if I apply highlight but do not see any effect?

  1. First, confirm that the target text is selected.
  2. Open the Highlight color list on the Home tab again and choose a color one more time.
  3. If the effect still does not appear, check the current document view or reopen the document and try again.

How can I add more highlight color options?

  1. The available colors depend on the options provided in the feature panel.
  2. Select one of the existing colors from the Highlight drop-down list.
