Last updated:July 15, 2026

When using WPS Font Color on iOS, common questions usually involve finding the feature entry, color changes not taking effect, and print output differences; this FAQ includes 3 common questions and a short glossary.

FAQ

Why can’t I find the font color option?

  1. Make sure you are opening an editable text document instead of a read-only preview.
  2. Tap the Tools entry in the interface.
  3. Open the Home tab and look for the color icon A in the Font formatting area.
  4. If the layout looks different, try switching screen orientation or updating WPS Office to the latest version.

Why doesn’t the text change after I choose a color?

  1. Make sure the text you want to edit is selected first.
  2. Open the color panel again and choose a color one more time.
  3. Check whether you tapped another formatting button instead of the color icon.
  4. If the text still does not change, close and reopen the document and try again.

Why does the color look fine on screen but not in print?

  1. Check whether the printer is using black-and-white output mode.
  2. Review the print preview and confirm that the text color has enough contrast.
  3. If you need black-and-white printing, use a darker color or combine color with bold formatting for better visibility.
  4. If the printed result is still unclear, return to the document, adjust the color, and print again.
