1. Basic copy

Feature entry: Select text → Home tab → Copy

  1. Select the text you want to copy.
  2. Click the Home tab.
  3. Click Copy.

2. Basic cut

4. Paste special

5. Copy from the right-click menu

9. Paste text only from the right-click menu

Feature entry: Right-click menu → Paste Text Only

  1. Place the cursor at the target location.
  2. Right-click at the target location.
  3. Click Paste Text Only.

  • On-screen result: Only text is inserted, without the original formatting.
  • Next action available: The text follows the style of the current document location.

10. Set the default paste format

Feature entry: File → Options → Edit → Default Paste Format

  1. Click the File menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Select Edit on the left.
  4. Set Default Paste Format.
  5. Click OK to save the setting.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: After the setting is saved, future paste actions follow the selected default format.
